Where do you get your inspiration? The color experts at the Pantone Institute are well known for their annual, highly-anticipated color report. The list of the top 10 trending colors for the following year is compiled by watching the choices of the fashion designers for their upcoming collections. These colors have been proven to be influential not only in fashion but in areas as diverse as home decor, accessories, and wedding planning. Out of the ten top trending colors, one is chosen as the Color of the Year – and for 2017, the hottest color is Greenery.

The list ranges from the neutral Hazelnut to the intensely saturated Blue Lapis. Warmer shades that capture the fire of a sunny day include Yellow Primrose and Flame, a spicy shade of orange that easily catches the eye.
Other shades to keep your eyes on in 2017 include Island Paradise, a dreamy shade of aqua, and Pink Yarrow, a flamboyant and vibrant hot pink. One of the most organic and earthy tones is Kale, a deep green that embodies the lush verdant aspects of nature. Similarly, Greenery also exudes the spirit of a spring day but is a more yellow-green in color, akin to chartreuse.

The final two colors are Niagara, a blue color as comfortable as your old pair of jeans, and Pale Dogwood, a soft and romantic shade of pink that is a classic wedding choice.
